Asociaţia presei străine de la Hollywood a desemnat duminică seara, laureaţii premiilor Globurile de Aur 2016, cele mai râvnite premii ale cinematografiei mondiale după Oscaruri, în cadrul unei ceremonii desfăşurate cu fast la Los Angeles.
Marele câştigător al serii poate fi considerat filmul ”The Revenant”, premiat la trei categorii – pentru cel mai bun film, regie (Alejandro Gonzales Inarritu) şi actor în rol principal (Leonardo DiCaprio). De asemenea, producţia ”The Martian” a primit două Globuri de Aur la categoriile cea mai bună comedie sau musical şi respectiv cel mai bun actor într-o comedie (Matt Damon).

Globurile de Aur recompensează creaţii din cinematografie şi televiziune, separând comediile de drame. Anul trecut au triumfat ‘Boyhood’ (Cea mai bună dramă) şi ‘The Grand Budapest Hotel’ (Cea mai bună comedie).
A 73-a ediţie a Globurilor de Aur a fost prezentată de actorul Ricky Gervais.
